Lafayette, LA - Lafayette, Louisiana’s Cosmic Cajun artist LANE MACK will release new single “Solid Ground” on Tuesday February 12th, 2019.
Lane has graced the stage with numerous national recording artist including, Robert Randolph, Marc Broussard, Gerry McGee (The Ventures) and Royal Teeth. Landing a spot on NBC’s hit television show “The Voice” catapulted Mack into a national audience. Two separate EP releases hitting no. 2 on the iTunes Blues Charts, Mack continues to push for new and creative music releases.
With his last release “It Must’ve Been Rain” hitting over 100,000 video views he continues to explore the genre of country/ Americana and cosmic country music, blending styles from around the swamps of south Louisiana.
Mack continues to strive and achieve his goals as an independent artist, using grassroots style marketing to build quite the loyal fan base and book respectable festival dates. “I wanted to bring the vibe back to my favorite era of country music with this release, the late 70s early 80s. Back when I was a kid growing up in the late 80s I got all the spillover from that era and it really struck a chord with me. That sound became one of my favorites and this new single, I think was an ode to that.”
