Lafayette, LA - Living in South Louisiana, everyone looks forward to football season to either cheer on the UL Ragin Cajuns, The LSU Tigers, or the New Orleans Saints. It's a little known fact to a lot of local football fans that there is also a Semi Pro Football Team in Lafayette that plays during the springs.
Let me take a minute to introduce you to the Lafayette's Bayou Hurricanes. The Bayou Hurricanes are in their 2nd season as a member of the GSFL (Gulf States Football League).
In their first year the Bayou Hurricanes, based out of Lafayette, LA, went 10-3 on the season and won the league championship. Now in their second year, the Bayou Hurricanes have started off this season undefeated.
The Bayou Hurricanes play home games at Clark Field in Lafayette. Their season kicked off with a home opener on March 3rd.
The Bayou Hurricanes will continue to battle for the league championship this year, and you can be part of the action. The Hurricanes home schedule is set:
Saturday, April 21 vs. Walker Warriors
Saturday, May 5th vs. Southeast Louisiana Pride
Saturday, May 12th vs. Cresent City Rampage
Tickets to each home game are only $7.00 for adults, and kids get in FREE.
