Scott, LA - In 2014, Johnny Gunn busted onto the local music scene with his band Rue Louisiane with a brand new CD, "Waiting for the Show." The CD featured smash hits such as "Don't Let the Green Grass Fool You" and "Ya Ya."
Since then, Guinn has been delivering mail for the US Postal Service in Kaplan and booking shows all around South Louisiana with his band Rue Louisiane and the O'Darby All Stars. In recent years, Guinn has graced the stage of the KBON Music Festival on the first weekend of October at the Rayne Frog Festival Pavillion.
Three years after his debut CD, Guinn, is excited to share news that he is working on new music. Guinn announced via his Facebook page that he has been in the studio working with producers Tony Ardoin and Ray Rebert of Ray-Tone Records on a new project. Guinn teased fans on facebook saying he would be releasing a new single to radio soon. As soon as the new single is ready, you be bet that KBON will be one of the first to play Guinn's new music.
Ray-Tone Records is located in Breaux Bridge, LA and is one of Acadiana's newest, state of the art recording studios. The studio was built by Ray Rebert, grandson of the late Dunice Theriot, and has been producing great music in it's first year of operation including the latest hit single by Dustin Sonnier "People Like Me" as well as the new release from Kalab Olivier entitled "I'm Over You."
We are excited for new music from Johnny Guinn. While we await details of the new single, make sure to like Johnny Guinn and Rue Louisiane on Facebook. Stay up to date with Ray - Tone Records by liking their page on Facebook as well.
