My name is Hoss Childress

and I'm half of the two person daytime duo, during the weekdays, here at KBON.  I get ya on your way to work in the morning, and I keep riding the air waves with ya until lunch time, Monday thru Friday.

  A little bit about me

is that I've been married to my lovely wife, Tisha Childless since 2013.  We reside in the town of Church Point Louisiana, but this is a place I'm quite familiar with 

because I was raised, not too far away, in South Crowley.

I've even had the privilege of graduating from the, renowned, Crowley High School in 1977.

    Since around that time,

 I've been doing what I love ever since. That is sharing music with the listeners of Acadiana. 

After all these years on the air in places like Crowley, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge and Lafayette,

being able to wake up Acadiana, in the mornings, here at 101.1 in Eunice has been my biggest and best joy.

  Anyway, I would like to close with a few words from James Dean, "Dream like you may live forever,

but live like you might die today!"
