Derek Landry started doing radio in 1997 in Sulphur Louisiana on KEZM 1310 am hosting a Cajun radio show on Saturday mornings. After losing his home in hurricane Rita he moved back home to Crowley Louisiana where he brought Cajun music back to his hometown radio station 1450 KSIG where he was discovered by longtime Louisiana music promoter and KBON owner Paul Marx.   Derek took over Dimanche Matin Cadien on KBON 101.1 in November of 2007 and has called KBON home since.  He has hosted Friday nights, Saturday afternoon and nights as well as hosting the morning show every Monday thru Friday. You can hear him every Friday night for Friday at Last as well as every Sunday morning.
