The La Maison de Begnaud House in Scott now has jam sessions on Friday Evening from 6-10 PM and Cajun French Table on Wednesdays from 1-3 PM at the traffic circle just off I-10 in Scott.  Absolutely FREE and open to the public.


Every Wednesday night from 7 PM - 9 PM the American Legion Post 225 in Church Point host's bingo night.  The bingo night includes games, food, and fun and prices are $8 per pack.  The American Legion Post 225 is located on Highway 35, 1 mile north of Church Point.

Have you ever wanted to learn the Cajun French language?  Have you ever wanted to know what is being said in a Cajun French song? Here's your chance to learn.  A Cajun French beginners class is being held at the Jean Lafitite Acadian Culture Center (501 Fisher Rd. Lafayette, LA). October 4th, 5th, and 6th - The Annual KBON Music Festival will take place October 4th - 6th at the Rayne Civic Center Pavilion in Rayne.  The event includes 3 days of live music from some of Louisiana's best, delicious food, cold drinks, and tons of family fun.  Admission is only $5.00 each day.  Gate and beverage proceeds benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana.
